Martin Farm is a lovely place for a one day outing in Bangalore with Kids. Spread over 2 acres off Sarjapur Road, Martin Farm is a haven for nature and outdoor loving kids. Animal interaction is the highlight of this one day outing in Bangalore. A day spent with Ducks, pigs, cows, horses, emus , rabbits, guinea pigs and turtles would be much more refreshing then the play areas in Malls. Martin Farm is located off Sarjapur Road. Pass Wipro gate and come 1.5 Kms further till you see Mahabir Marble stores on the right. Take the left turn which takes you past Carmelaram station. At the next T junction take right as indicated in a sign board for Martin Farm. Take the next Left and Martin Farm would be on the right.
When is Martin Farm open
Martin Farm is open from 10am-6pm on all days except Mondays. 11am and 430 pm are the feeding time for animals and the best time to be around. Always call Martin Farm at 9845779666 before visiting as on some days the farm hosts School trips and Birthday parties when other groups wouldn’t be allowed.

There is a fee of Rs 100 per person at Martin Farm.
Tips for planning a visit to Martin Farm
Martin Farm is as its name suggest a Farm where one can interact with Animals. It is not a resort. Hence do not expect stay or food facilities. You need to carry your own food. There are washrooms and drinking water is also available. The best way for kids to enjoy this one day outing in Bangalore is to just run around, get dirty, feed animals and play!
Feeding Animals
The most fun activity during this one day outing in Bangalore with kids is feeding animals. The Farm provides all the food, and we can feed the animals. Feeding times are 11am and 430 pm. Do not feed any other food to the animals as it can be harmful for them.

Birthday Party at Martin Farm
Martin Farm can be a fun venue for birthday parties of kids. There is a sitting area where tables and chairs are provided. Spending the birthday with friends amidst farm animals would surely be fun for the kids. However decoration items, plastic and playing music is not allowed.
Gerry Martin Project
The Gerry Martin Project is involved in Wildlife conservation and education. They organize workshop and expeditions on conservation of nature and wildlife. Workshops cover topics like field herpetology, canopy research, scrub jungle ecology and large mammal tracking. Expeditions are real life projects on conservation like taking inventory of amphibians in Arunachal Pradesh, Herpetofauna survey in Pakke tiger reserve, Herpetology study in western ghats during monsoons, ecology study at Andaman islands.
